I would like to thank you all again for your patience and support with the project. As you know we are a small crew here- in fact it was just me- until very recently when Jack Duncan, Gemma Maclean Mair and Lou Sutcliffe stepped in to help with the writing! And the scale, ambition and reach of this project has occasionally exceeded our grasp- but we have learned many valuable lessons from 2023 and you will hopefully start to see greater consistency in all aspects of the No Returniverse- including in scheduling!

Hello everyone and happy new year!, sorry for it being a little quiet on the old feed for the last little while but I thought I would give you a little update on whats going on behind the scenes at No Return.
Part 1 of the Nymphaeum wrapped up earlier in the year as did part 1 of Wide-End. Both of these stories will return in Phase 2 of No Return later in 2024.
The priority for the remainder of the year is to get Phase 1 complete. This means finishing off The 2nd half of the Orillian Regiment, the final third of The Ansa Enclave, the last couple of episodes of Anderkant and the majority of The Steg and getting them into your ears.
We have been plagued by production delays of myriad variety over the last 12 months and we are incredibly grateful for you guys who keep coming back and staying with us as we muddle our way through this ‘unorthodox’ story telling method. Most of our delays have now been resolved and we should make good progress in 2024 closing off phase 1 and moving into phase 2.
You will be delighted to hear that phase 2 is going to be a little more traditional in format. We will be releasing one story at a time (instead of the 6+ we did in phase 1) and they will be released in their entirety, once they are complete instead of using the ‘fire when ready’ method we have been using so far.
This will hopefully make the story a little easier to follow and allow you to binge!
Now I keep talking about ‘Phase 2’ of the show so I should probably tell you a little more about it!
Phase 2 will consist of 7 stories:
Some familiar such as Wide- End and The Nymphaeum
And some new such as Echoes of the Gods, The Good Lernian, Mageslayers and The Kabouters of Xing… with both new and familiar characters appearing within.
Phase 2 is not expected to begin until the back end of 2024 but production has already begun on a number of these stories.
What you can expect most imminently is a little side project we’ve been working on in the margins over the last few months. Myself and some of the Voice Actors on the show got together and made a TTRPG Actual Play set in the world of No Return Erset La Tari- called ‘The Fate of Daya’ telling the story of the oft cryptically referenced but little expounded fate of the city of Daya in Vash.
We will be releasing episodes 1-5 between January and April and will be releasing 6-9 from May onwards.
So as you can see there is at lot going on behind the scenes here at No Return and a lot to look forward to.
